  • We are changing the name of our adult Sunday School group from “Beachside” to “The Encouragers”. 1 Thessalonians 5:11 tells us to encourage and build up one another, so that is what we will be doing every Sunday at 10:00am in the Fellowship Hall!
  • Beginning May 1st, the early service will begin at 8:45! Sunday School and the late service will remain the same at 9:45am and 11:00am respectively.
  • Just a friendly reminder that our office hours have changed for the summer. We will be in the office Tuesday-Thursday, 9:00am-3:00pm with a lunch break from 1:00-1:30. Please note, Pastor Chet will still be working on Fridays. You can reach him on his cell phone. (His number can be found in the Instant Church Directory)
  • Don’t forget: Bible Fellowship (also known as Sunday School) meets every Sunday at 9:45am! The adults meet in the Fellowship Hall, the youth meet in the Sands classroom, the children meet in the grades 1-5 classroom, and the PreK – Kindergarten class meets at the end of the hallway.
  • The Women’s Ministry is having a special presentation on Tuesday, August 23 at 1:15pm. The speaker is Rev. Dr. Ophelia Beier who was present in the Pentagon on 9/11. All are welcome! Invite a friend, neighbor, husband, or other family member. This will be a meeting you don’t want to miss!
  • There will be lots of school supplies on sale or clearance in the coming weeks. Now is the perfect time to buy supplies for Operation: Christmas Child by Samaritan’s Purse!
  • We had SO MANY generous donations the last 2 weeks, we no longer need white rice!!! THANK YOU ALL for your help!! For the rest of the month of August, we are requesting donations of soup. Dealers’ choice! Thank you for helping us aid the communities in Flagler County!
  • Just a reminder that our Ukraine mission is still ongoing! Teri King is always accepting things to send over to her family. Medical supplies, clothes, canned food, or monetary donations are most needed! Please remember, some of these poor people were only just able to escape the guns with the clothes on their backs. The big blue donation bin is still in the lobby and Teri’s information can be found in our instant church directory. If you need help setting up a profile in the directory, please see our church clerk, Joyce Cantrell.
  • Join us every Wednesday for Bible Study at 6:30pm in the Sanctuary as we dive into the book of Exodus! Activities for all ages! If you would like to join the conversation, find us on Zoom! ID 9363762858 and the password is john316. We also live-stream on Facebook and YouTube beginning at 6:45.
  • We are looking for volunteers to man the cameras on Sunday morning! No experience necessary, all you have to do is point and shoot! If you’re willing to assist us, please see Pastor Chet.
  • The church received a letter from someone who attended FBCFB on occasion who is looking for a place to rent for 1 month at the beginning of 2023 for he and his wife. If you would like more information, please see me and I can give you his email address or telephone number.
